Day 1: Lunch, Dinner
ARRIVAL - BELIZE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT/FLIGHT TRANSFER TO THE LODGE AT CHAN CHICH
Meet your Belize Birding Tours' guide at the Belize City Airport (BZE.) Private Charter Flight transfer to CHAN CHICH Luxury Lodge. Welcome to lodge then afternoon spent birding the grounds for Great Curassow, Great Tinamou, Jabiru Stork, Red-lored, Yucatan and Yellow-Headed Parrots, Aztec Parakeet, Barred Antshrike, Black-headed Trogon and White-collared Manakin. Gourmet welcome dinner at Lodge. Short orientation presentation after dinner. Evening nocturnal bird session on grounds of lodge to search for Stygian Owl with sound recordings. Drift off to the night sounds of the tropical wetland around us.

CHAN CHICH LODGE BIRDING
Search for Snail Kites, Black-collared Hawk, Jabiru Stork, Yucatan Parrots, Bare-throated Tiger-Herons, Roseate Spoonbill, and Limpkin, among many bird species. Lunch at lodge. Siesta Afternoon birding on lodge trails. Evening dinner at lodge dining room. Evening review of bird list and following day's itinerary. Bird the grounds in the evening for nocturnal birds. CHAN CHICH LODGE BIRDING
Early morning - Bird the lodge area around Chan Chich trails. Focus on interior forest birds such as Barred Antshrike, Rufous-breasted Spinetail, Black-headed Saltators.

CHAN CHICH LODGE MORNING BIRDING/TRANSFER TO CHAA CREEK LODGE
Early morning flight back to Belize City airport (BZE) with shuttle drive to the western part of the country to CHAA CREEK LODGE. Lunch at the lodge with orientation. Afternoon birding around the lodge. Dinner at lodge dining room.
